Pat Hughes
Pat Hughes was called on to play flanker
for the first time, with the express goal of shutting down St. Augustine's dangerous 8-man, Bobby Dalton, when he picked
up off the base of the scrum. Hughes not only made sure Dalton had no significant blind side runs off the scrum, but continued
to be a force on defense in the open field and had several strong runs with the ball in hand. For these reasons the coaching
staff has recognized him as Man of the Match in the forwards.

Eric Danze
Eric Danze's calm handling of St. Augustine kicks
and his penetrating counterattacks were one of the key differences between the Storm's two meetings with the Hermits this
season. In Week 2, St. Augustine's kicking game devastated the Storm, but in the Div. II Quarterfinals a Danze-led back
three turned the majority of the Hermits' kicks into Storm opportunities. For his leadership and composure under pressure
the coaching staff awarded Danze Man of the Match in the backs.

John Abadie
John Abadie's relentless defensive pressure,
sure tackling and nose for the loose ball were key factors in the Storm's success in a hard-fought match against St. Augustine.
Abadie's steal, run and offload to brother Dakota for a try on the second kickoff gave the Storm a needed charge that
carried the squad through the half. For stepping up his game in a crucial situation - and playing wing for the first time
- the coaching staff has awarded John Man of the Match for the backs.
