Cape Storm Rugby is
Cape May County, NJ's high school boys rugby club. Any male athlete who is enrolled in an area high school for the 2011-2012 school year
is eligible to join.
We compete in the sport of Rugby Union (as opposed to Rugby League) against other high school clubs
from New Jersey who are also members of the New Jersey State-Based Rugby Organization (NJSBRO).
Practices
are on Sundays from 2:00-3:30 until February 26, 2012, then a regular training schedule will be initiated for the remainder
of the spring season starting on February 28, 2012.
Training sessions are Tues and Thurs, 4:30-6 p.m. at the field behind Cape May County Special Services, on Crest
Haven Road in Cape May Court House (Garden State Parkway Exit 11).
Matches are generally
held at 2pm on Sundays.
We also play a separate Summer season of 7-a-side rugby, which runs from the last week
of June through the third week of July. The summer season consists of three to four Saturday tournaments, in which teams play
anywhere from three to six matches during the course of the day.
